What happens if you put a website in to a CPA site which you do not own?

EG, I find a website which has high traffic, dominating its keyword etc and then say to a CPA Company I own it. What could happen?

one option for example: you may get banned, when they check and realize where your traffic is coming from and let's say you don't hide/fake your referer

Alot of companies actually check out the who is/name servers etc to find out if you do own the sites that you list so I would be weary of doing something like that.
