Fake Traffic

Wasn't sure what section to post this in, but can someone tell me what to look for in terms of fake traffic through G analytics? About to buy a site and would like to verify the traffic etc.

In regards with G-analytics I would start with the bounce rate.

Where are you buying the site from?
Lots of sites on Flippa are boosted with fake/bot traffic.
 
Flippa it is a pretty high priced site so I need to verify some things. The bounce rate is 66.7% majority of traffic is coming from Maine about 26% other than that it is preetty even across the entire US. Anything I can look for? I read the article but not sure what I'm looking for.

I checked the traffic source with the domain method they said and it looks like it is coming from rr.com which I googled and it said Time Warner and myfairpoint.net which is another internet provider.

What do you guys think?
 
I've checked everything but I'm a noob so I dont' really know.
 
Can anyone help me analyze the traffic? It seems pretty legit the only concern I haev is 26% of traffic is from Maine which seems off other than that it is prettye ven across the US

Traffic source, bounce rate, keywords the site may be ranking for, traffic sources etc would give you an idea.
