Fake Tracking Numbers

if this was possible the tracking/shipping industry would be dead by now
Could it be possible either by accessing delivery services and their private database of tracking #s currently active and in circulation?
Or by using a code generator, and script to randomly try a set of tracking #s on their tracking lookup website to see which are active

I think it's quite illegal as a thing, we can't discuss it in the forum.

Hi, you can use OAGenius.
It's very unexpensive (around $1 for tracking number i think ?) and basically it gives you a real tracking number from someone else which meets your requirements. So for ex, if you need a tracking number for a package that arrives on February the 17th in Miami, OAGenius will give you just that.

Wow this is so interesting and has all kinds of tactical implications. I googled a bit and found similar services such as Trackato.
How do these work and how are they not illegal or abused?
