Fake followers - effective or not?

Hello,

As you can tell by the title, im wondering if fake followers are good or bad.
I think by having around 5k fake followers on your page, it encourages people to follow you more, of course with fake likes too
But people have been telling me that fake followers are bad and that i shouldnt have them. ..
Can someone explain to me why

BAD...BAD..AND bad....i only got 1k fakes and it messed me up in the long run...NEVER DO FAKES kids...
 
yoloswagman, why are they bad and currently no. i will post complate before and after and my technique after i reach my goal of $50 a day but thank you for the intrest
 
they are bad because you have to keep buying them as many get banned pretty quickly and your follower count goes down pretty quick....plus just the artificial looks of it
 
Honestly, It depends on a lot of variables and factors.
If you are aiming to build a strict and specific niche, these fake followers won't help you,
on the other hand they are useful for mainstream profiles
 
I think it's beneficial especially when you need a kick-start, it's much harder to get followed by real people when you have just few followers.
 
Yeah, it depends on your goals.

Having 5k followers with empty profiles that never engage/talk to you is easy to spot from a mile away. (Having 5k followers and you've tweeted 45 times type of a thing).

For what it's worth, in my opinion you are better off having a lower number of followers with a higher level of engagement.

I've paid for them in the past only to just end up getting rid of them - which is a huge pain in the ass!
 
100% worthless. People are too smart now. 5 years ago fakes worked because it tricked people into thinking they should do the same. Now people check.

I laugh when I see dipshits on Twitter with 200K followers yet none of their tweets has a single favorite or retweet. Fakes make you look like a royal loser.

Build them the right way.

Gate content requiring them to follow you. Do a contest. Anything other than buy fake ones.

Don't get so hung up on the number...I know a company that does $20M a year and they have 400 Twitter followers.
 
but in my opinion, to start something, u can go for them, then slowly, even f they get banned , you develop your own followers..

i started an acount with 0 followers and with 1k fake ones
same results.. unless your account is getting fake likes also then i dont see whats the point?
its like wearing a good looking armor in an RPG that does nothing
 
People will still follow your account despite have little to no followers.

Just a week ago, I made an account with 0 followers and now it has 1000 followers and I did it without following anyone.
 
I have successfully used faked followers with a little tweaking.

Use software like FollowLiker to get likes/retweet/repin/comments/etc back onto your profile from some real followers.

That way, you have the numbers to peer pressure potential new followers and also the proof that your account is "active".

After a while there is no need to get fake followers and you just focus on using the software.

It is just something you do to boost new or sluggish accounts rapidly.
 
I don't think having many followers will encourage others to follow you. Unless you offer people something valuable or shareworthy, they won't do it.

Opt for the real ones. In this case, engagement matters over quantity.
 
In my own opinion it has its pros and cons,but I think its much better with real followers. :)
 
I'd say stay away from fake followers. You will be getting followers that do nothing and or uninterested in your feed anyways. Consider those will be your fake followers.
 
I highly doubt if they do. Fake followers are highly bouncy and they can be disappeared at any moment and can make your fist empty.
