Just curious - I know a long time ago when myspace was still in full swing, a lot of people would pose as female members with a few naughty pictures, and then solicit men to check out their "website" which was actually covered in cpm/cpa stuff. Does anyone still do this? How strict is facebook on fake profiles?

How are they going to know it's a fake profile?
You know, that's a really good point.
They can't monitor IP's, a bunch of small colleges would be FUBAR if they did.

they dont have to monitor IPs to disable your account. Facebook users can alert Facebook that your account might not be authentic and Facebook disables your account, then sends you an email asking you to verify this with your ID including your ID photo, date of birth and all. scanned or taken with a camera
