The account was made 2 years ago and has less than 10 friends. There is one FB group that automatically rejects me no matter how many times I join. My request is not even gets to pending state but is immediately rejected. I wonder why is that? Is AI got so smart and admin has some kind of sophisticated option enabled that is supposed to reject fake accounts? Maybe it requires a number of friends for profile to have?

Would buying fake aged account bypass that? I saw phone verified geo account but such account must be accessed from proxy I understand. What happens if say CA account gets accessed from Europe? Will it get locked or banned? To clarify the account is only needed for private purposes.

It's an old feature of Facebook. Read more here - https://www.facebook.com/community/whats-new/improving-membership-requests-automatic-approvals/

The account in question meets requirements but is automatically denied.

Some groups have reached maximum capacity of members and they automatically reject new joining requests. If the group has large number of members, it's possible that it is not accepting new members.
