Hello guys , I know this kind of threads are annoying and this section may not be the right one but give me some slack I'm still kind of new here. So thing is , I'm trying to make some money online , I have some business ideas but I don't have the budget to start them so I decided to find some jobs as a freelancer , I'm a student at uni so I can't find a regular job , thing is I can't seem to land a job online either , I've tried fiverr etc but got 0 jobs , I can do writing , image editing , excel and I know basic coding . I'm pretty sure there are people working online who are way less qualified , so there is something else I'm doing wrong and can't find a job , I would like some feedback on that . How did you guys land your first job online ?
(Again I'm sorry for making a thread like that , plssss don't bash me )

Actually nothing wrong with your question , better than thoes who ask to spoonfeed them. Believe it or not most people that get freelance jobs on platforms are thoes who buy fake reviews for their profiles etc. Let's just be honest and let's say u have a project u are deff going to choose the freelancers who got the good reviews and not an empty freelancer account.

Thanks for the feedback bro. I knew about fake reviews , was planning to do that myself . I have also tried to get approved on content mills , but I got rejected , do you anything about those , should I improve my writing skills before I try again ?

Deff get fake reviews and when u set your profile and everything is good start bidding on projects ( ask for low amount at first). Don't just apply only to content mills , apply to a lot of similar sites so u have a % of luck to get one of them. Yes sure improve your writing skills , that will give u more chance to get accepted :)

Maybe go into some fb groups where people exchange fiverr reviews? Thay way you can get some reviews and get the ball rolling for free. What jobs are you offering? Things like logo creation, editing, voice overs are competitive

Hello....I am a newbie here too....I am an Inventor / product designer and a beginner coder.....it seems to me your skills list / description is the problem..its your packaging.....When I hire someone to do a coding job for me...I look past the fluff...whats the skill set they have that I need for my project ..?

Reread how you described yourself.....it wasnt confident...and whats in your portfolio...Thats what I look at when I hire people...

Heres my advice go to D3js..threejs...& codepen.io....look at the examples...then use your creativity & imagination to build several unique website examples for your portfolio...NO TV..no video games..no playing around.....build 6 unique never seen before websites as the basis for your work .

Show me why I should spend my hard earned money with you

I myself use and learn from codepen...the code is there and you can learn and sharpen your skills while working on giving potential clients the reasons to say yes to you ...FORK a few pens..and create something that makes a client say WOW !

Think about it....As a client..I need you to build the things I cant...Bots..data visualizations...innovative websites...new ways to see and do business
Thats what I need..for you to build me the tools for my business...I am a great inventor...and have great business ideas...but cant code them into reality .

Challenge yourself to build something your potential clients have never seen in eCommerce , Jobs , social networking , sales etc. and you will
win clients .
