Hello guys.

I just want to tell you about my failed attempt to be Shopify entrepreneur.
I have been working on Shopify store for one month now, spend 500$ on facebook ads.
I made few view content ads with items that I know sell good in past.
I test my store, I made two buy attempts by myself, everything works great.
Still, after more than one thousand visits on my store from FB ads, i don't have even one buyer.

So guys be careful with spending your money.
I've got the 8-16 job so this is not like a big disaster to me, but still, it feels bad.

Maybe somebody who got bigger experiance in this type of IM can help me, and then if we will have any successes i can share them here.

I still give myself 3-4 weeks to try different things to get some sells. I don't even think about making a profit I just want to prove myself that I can earn any money in this way.

So if I will have any new info to share about how I lift my shop up I will share it here soon.

I hope I can help myself and bunch of guys with this same problem.

For $500 you could buy a decent amount of inventory of some low cost item on Alibaba and send it to Amazon FBA.

how many products did you test ? I think given the 500$ you have - 100$ of shopify & theme & domaine cost ...
You are left with 400$ for fb ads, normally that should give you 20 products to test 20$ for each one splitted on 2 days 10$ each day ( normally it takes 2 days to determine if a product is worth selling ).
Did you test 20 products ?

You are getting more visibility for your store & products but you didn't optimize your store for Conversions i guess, u need to work more on your sales funnel not to spend more $$, "Hope Marketing" doesn't work at all.

so if you failed you failed, no biggie.. show your shop to us and reveal your ads maybe some of the more experianced users can help you out. You've got nothing to lose anyways..

I will just check one new product with new ads settings this week. If this will fail I will put here URL to my shop maybe somebody will come up with conclusion how to revive my shop.

It's not as difficult as you think. I have 2 stores and easily make over $1000 every month.

lol @John4life2017 probably not the most helpful answer to the OP

I agree with @supereek might as well share a bit more about ur tactics. There most be some glaring issue.

How many leads did you acquire from your traffic and are u re-targeting them?

I know a lot of people that only use FB ads for people who already visited their site.
