“Factory” Scam?

This “Factory” salesman contacted me, offering a very good price for one of the products I am dropshipping, I don’t mind revealing it.

Need people’s take on this, for reference , the same projector retails on aliexpress and alibaba for $30 - $40

Beside that, on alibaba/aliexpress sales go through the website, I never seen them asking you to pay through those channels. If they are legit ask them to go through verified alibaba account.

Before that particular product got famous it was selling for $10 in some cases even less. Im one of the OG dropshippers of that product. I used to obtain those for low as $8 stock and $12 custom built/brandaded.

but that outlook got me thinking. Maybe try small order of 10 pcs

The margins at that time must’ve been absolutely insane. If you’re not selling it anymore , could you pm me some of the suppliers you used?

It`s more like, if you don`t receive the products or products are not as described, the payment won`t go through

Yeah Ali is pretty much like an escrow and we don’t even need to go as far as wondering whether this guy is a scammer or not.

I was browsing instagram last month and saw someone running an ad for the same product. I'm not into dropshipping but i guess that product can bring a lot if u run it on ig

Good job and results! China comes up with a lot of great product ideas.

My girl showed me an ad for that projector about a year ago and I was like “damn, that is a great idea”.

Yep! I’m thinking of trying to increase my margin somehow. Wonder if it’s possible to contact alibaba suppliers for dropshipping
