I keep seeing people constantly saying that factory reset has some effect on accounts getting banned or having low views..

Has anyone actually gotten better results with having their phones factory reset (iphones specifically)?

It depends how unique your previous settings where. Going from factory -> factory will change nothing, but let's say (on Android) you set a different DPI, the a factory reset would clear it out and it would appear more like two different fingerprints. However I know TikTok for example read the SIM number, it'll only be a matter of time before Instagram does. At that point, a factory reset cannot save you unless you simultaneously change the SIM card.

A factory reset alone doesnt change much if performance improves afterward something else probably changed too.

I have not observed any significant impact from factory resets. When an account seems to be having problems, my attention would be drawn more to the account’s activities than the impact of resetting a device.

When you factory reset the phone, it clears past history of accounts getting banned when you use them. That is what the benefit is

I have not seen any differences with a factory reset. But that may be just me.

Thanks for the input everyone, I also felt the same way. I saw that even if I had chainban on a device - I could still just delete the app, re-install and make a new account to get views. Looks like factory reset is just a myth or it was relevant like months ago.
