Hello Everyone,

I have one Instagram account which has 9k+ followers but many of them are purchased.
Even after having 9k+, we get only 10-15 likes on each post. This is definitely because of fake followers but now we are doing all the possible ways to get engagements organically on post but I am not able to see any remarkable growth.

From last 8 months, I am doing all the quality posting on my account but no positive results can be seen. Is there any penalty that I have got on my account?

What you suggest I should do? Should I delete the account and create a new one?

Thanks in advance!

It's always tricky when you buy fake followers for an account. You have to work extra hard to see improvements in engagement

Looks like your account was botted and it is probably heavily penalized for doing so.

When you buy fake followers your content gets pushed to their feed but because they are not real they won't engage with it. This signals Instagram that your content is "no bueno" so it stops promoting your posts to more feeds.

My suggestion is that you start a new page and start over.

Cheers,

Use popular hashtags and more specific ones related to your niche. Also, look for pages with a bigger follower base to give you shoutouts (in exchange for money or for sfs). Do giveaways and call to action in your posts. Research your competition to see what cool ideas you can get to add to your content.

change of strategy and posting algorith is in order. hashtag is one of the ways to up the likes and followers. I say general text posts are not best way to go. Do creative text and uniqe posts

Buying followers is always a no no.

I recommend that you try the outdated follow/unfollow, targeting followers of those in your niche.
Basically, if you post content about Social Media Marketing then follow users of authority accounts in the same niche.
Example: I'm in entertainment news, so if I post a picture about Lil Wayne then I follow his followers for up to three days. I usually do this for most of my posts. This usually results in more engagement and more followers.

Also, as mentioned by others, use proper hashtags. Not too much tho.

Starting a new account id possibly the best solution. However, you could still give the current account a try.
