Compared to SEO on what seems like every other platform, YouTube SEO is tough!
Does anyone else find it hard to understand how fairly new faceless channels are doing so well with such difficult keywords?

I’ve been doing some Initial research (channels mostly between 0 and a year old) and I keep coming across fairly new faceless channels ranking for really hard keywords with INSANE views.

For example,
..
(Thought I’d reverse engineer one of the channels elitebill mentioned in his fantastic ‘YouTube hustle’ post last month by looking at this channel’s vids)

Here’s a copycat…100k & 1 month old https://www.youtube.com/@Obama-VoiceLTD/videos

There's also these miniature cake channels which look interesting...this one...the top vid 3.9k views in 2 weeks on a video with HARD keywords.

And then this one…really similar but with only 122 views…why!?
https://www.youtube.com/@SweetCakes-h1p/videos

Or this one…31k views in 4 weeks…again...with keywords again so difficult!

I’m obviously missing something as my god this is not making sense…
I know search isn’t they only way to get traffic, but how are these channels pulling in so many views…And how does the channel know what words/topics to target (I suppose this is the golden question…)

Hi,

You have realized one of the main points that is search is not their main way to get traffic, same way you should not focus on search views, Instead your aim should be to enter the suggestions algorithm and browse features of youtube.

How do these faceless channels do it? Other than the obvious factor of "good content"

These faceless channels focus on promotions and that are basically smm services, they boost it with views and add likes and shares and comments in proportion to the views they send. This is one of the main way to push your video into the algorithm.

So find a good and reliable smm panel that can guide you and offer good services.

Goodluck.

There are all kinds of little tricks, just keep testing and trying things, but track results carefully. For example, I found that a certain site would recommend my vids and can use that site to click on my vids which i found gave a boost. Full effects of testing could take a year to surface in some cases probably. SEO is slow and weird sometimes these days, but lots of loopholes still exist and new ones constantly appearing. Good luck!

Search traffic is not the main thing on YouTube... it is important only for a small number of niches, like "how to"... in 90% of niches, YouTube's recommendation system works

I want to give you a big thanks for this kind of conversional, suggestions post.

I can't understand how there are people who literally spends one hour watching this AI generated story...but it's undeniable that there are enough people doing that, they probably don't value enough their own time and there are lots of money in the table for this kind of video

Hi, I read your reply and I would love if you could expound on a few points you made about the "smm services". Like how do you know that? 2. How can you "enter the suggestions algorithm and browse features" with a new video/new channel? How can I push my videos and channel into the algorithm? i want real authentic viewers from an audience that likes my content and if my content isn't good- I am willing to address that but I can't even get yt to give me enough impressions to even make decisions on how to improve and yet, I stand with the OP- how are these other new new channels blowing up seemingly overnight. I feel like I must be missing a piece of data that no one wants to talk about or share. Sorry for the rant. haha

"enter the suggestions algorithm and browse features of youtube."
