Hey,
I am going to be running a facebook ad campaign for one of my business classes at school. I have worked with adwords.
But can anyone offer some tips on what you may want to do with facebook advertising?
cpm? ppc?

Also, Is facebook profitable with PPC?

I haven't done it for a long time though what i can tell you is...
They're not as painful as google is but they are trying hard
If your CTR doesn't go i believe...above 6% your ads will die very quick.
Ads are not that cheap as well but it''s all about CTR.
They love declining ads but if you're not doing crazy things keep resubmitting your ads and they will get accepted eventually...

PPC can be profitable on Facebook, of course

CPM is only effective when you have a laser targeted market!
With CPM I have been able to get $0.10 per click...but Im sure some people
have gotten even lower! Good luck!

Facebook offers some extremely targeted advertising - if you take the time to think about what else your potential customers would "like" - you can really get a good return on CPM
