I dont think i've ever seen it this bad before. Pick any page with over 100K members and enabled wall posting. You will find 9/10 times it' all spam. Facebook is turning into cesspool.
This happened because facebook is making it harder to add friends and keep pages & accounts from being deleted so so spammers have migrated to the walls. I know this is an unpopular stance to take, but i implore facebook if they are reading this to purge the walls. This is a joke.

It has been this way for quite some time as far as I am concerned. Just as you say, if I was to run the Page Finder in ********** with a return minimum of 100,000 fans, there is guaranteed to be spam all over the pages it will return. It is the same for groups as well, but possibly not as bad as pages.

I am not so sure how serious of a stance Facebook is going to take on this. They already implemented the "flagging" of a wall post (instead of "reporting," although you can still report the post after you have flagged it).

I really hate to say it, but this was just bound to happen. Especially with the automated programs that have been released to the public (either for free or at bargain prices) and also due to all of the information being shared on this forum and abroad.

However, there is still a TON of money to be made, and I am sure you would agree with me on that note. However, I agree, this is getting way out of hand.

The problem is wall are become 'post only' in that no one reads whats being posted. it wasnt this bad 2 months ago.. Facebook should put limits on the number of posts can be made with one IP in a time frame.
