Since I've had a Facebook page I've always wanted a post to go viral.

About 8 days ago I decided to make a humour page from fresh and the first post went viral within an hour of posting it.

I quickly added some more content on the page and have been updating it since, but here's the bit I find weird..

All those people reached, 25K likes, 14K comments & 23K shares and I only got 1000 likes to my new page. Is that a bit odd or is that normal from a viral post? I've always imagined that you'd get thousands.

it's normal you don't get many fans from sharing images, page name has a lot to do with amount of fans you get

Thanks for clearing that up for me! Do you know if there's any possible way to change the name? Just looked on Facebook and it says you can't if you have over 200 page likes.

I am seeing that on my fan pages as well.But its normal nothing wrong or update on facebook.Its just Normal how facebook reach works.And the reach its showing is for your post not your page page reach and post reach work quite different on facebook.

You may not get likes on your page necessarily if your post goes viral. However, try to edit your viral post description and include your page link in it. This may help you gain likes from people who have not already likes your page.

Where you find viral content? My page is going down slowly because have no time to manage it last days.

i dont believe that there is a way after you reach 200

somtime you can either by merging or changing the category of the page but the chances are very rare.

you can contact FB and ask them to merge it for you
