Facebook viral post but no page likes

I've created a viral post which gets really good post engagement. It has 20k reach, 100s of photo likes, 65 shares, and 600 comments.
These are scattered in around 5-10 relevant groups. Although the numbers are big and good, I still can't get people to click on my link and like my page, as the post is shared through my page. Only 18 people have clicked on my page and liked it from this viral post.

I'm in the political niche. Please share your thoughts.

May be you should work more on engaging people to like your page. when people see a viral post they may share it, comment or like but that will probably all what they will do. you should monetize those posts that go viral but to grow your page you need to do other things (facebook ads, share 4 share, comment with you page profile, etc.)

There are a number of reasons why you don't get page likes. One reason is that you don't include calls-to-action. Ask fans to interact and direct them to liking your page.

You can ask questions, you can present the benefits of liking your page and tell fans how your page can help them discover something new. Don't forget to engage with your fans and analyze your Facebook page insights weekly to ensure your strategies are getting results.
 
Try using FB ads :)

You know what content has viral potential ... boost that post with paid advertising.
 
You need to include calls to actions if you want people to give their likes to your fanpage through your post, otherwise, they might engage with the post but thats it.
 
Posts some more interesting which is highly engaging your users and give as like a question or hint about the interesting post to get the click through. Do some contests that will help you to get more interaction about your page. If you can viral these kind of posts then you may get more clicks for your page and the engagement of the page is also very good.
 
Hey man, I know a work around for this based on your niche which is a hard one to get likes for.

Follow these steps.
1. Go to your page where you shared content out from and find the viral post
2. Click on the 'Likes' number for that post
3. You will now see you can simply invite people to like the page as they have already shown an interest in your content.
4. Wait a couple of days then go again until you have no more invites to send

This should yield you a decent amount of fans to work with and kick start your page.
Overtime each post will have invites you can send and you just keep going

I think the daily limit is around 1000-1500 but It's best to do 20-30 at a time then leave for a few hours.

I tried this but I cannot see the invite option in my posts likes. I've shared through various groups from a user account. Please elaborate how to find this.
