Facebook Verified Pages Badges Removed

I've seen many facbeook verified pages getting there Badges Removed.
Most of the Fan Pages whose badges are removed are Either News/Publishing/Models and Community.
Did you see this on other pages.
I've seen it on Indian Pages and many active Indian Models So i can confirm that this is true.
But i would love to see if some fake websites banking with badges got hit by this update/

I would love to see that too.
I really hate when I see some fake Indian model page with blue mark filled with random chicks on their page.

I've been told by a Facebook Adverts Rep recently that they have been slowly getting rid of the verified badges.

Fake Verified one's who may not be famous or someone who is not as famous to be a verified.

Even reputed Punjabi singers pages got unverified. Pages which are recently verified has not affected with this update.. Recently i have sold one verify fan page..he renamed it with his site and its still going great.. I think by next update even that page will get unverified.

Try using mention app..if you own a celebrity page with original documents.
