Facebook Verified? How? Did anyone get it?

There`s been a lot of Twitter verified threads, but since the largest Social Network right now also brought Verified Profiles and Pages I don`t see people asking about it.

What works? DID ANYONE even try to figure it out? I`ve tried sending messages to the FB staff with no luck though, got no response. And another thing is that for example I`m from Romania and there`s like a lot of known singers here with numbers ranging from 400 K to even 1.5 M and even though they appear on TV and sing everywhere across the country and even in Italy and Germany they still did not get that blue verified check thing.

While other people from Chile, Brazil, France, USA, etc etc got verified with only 200 K and I actually think I saw a guy who had barely 80 K fans and was verified.

I know it`s a lot to think of right now as its only online for a couple of months but I say we should analyze things a lil bit and see what matters here. Do they have high connections? Luck? Some kind of tricks? What is it that makes them verified and other people even from other countries with a lot of fans and official pages not ?

If anyone has any experience with this domain please share it with us.

I don't know criteria ... But I've talked to a guy who does that blue tick verification may be using some BH method ..

He asks for like $500-$600 for each verification ...
Didn't try his service yet.
It indicates there is some weak point where such guys take over and do the verification.
 
Its not that easy I guess. Two years ago after I got hundred thousands of followers I was asked by Facebook if I want to verify my account. I sent my ID and I got verified and it even appeared under my settings - followers: "Verification - verified." So I was thinking that I would get a blue check mark, too. But nothing. Even the verification notice in my settings disappeared after the launch of the new verification icon.
So, I am in fact verified but without this blue checkmark. I guess it really depends on your level of reputation or celebrity status.

I guess also fake followers or a little of spamming around will disqualify you for this verification badge.

I also got some offer such this. But my point if they can we can too. Just need to be on the right path. I am trying to figure it out. But still now No luck :(
 
Eventually, someone will find a way to get through this. This is something new but this will be solved just like other updates made on the Internet. :D

I guess its the same like with Twitter. No connections no nothing. You just gotta know people or just be ultra huge on facebook with a couple of millions but as I said I`ve seen official pages with millions who did not get verified. I don`t know.. I guess it`s too soon to tell.

I hear its easy to get facebook verified. Lots of people are getting it. Guess its just through meeting the criteria facebook sets and sending in your request.
 
Found someone that has done 50+ successfully. Gonna see if it's real if so.. then I can recommend to others.
 
I have just over 40k real Facebook fan page likes. About 3 months ago Facebook automatically verified my page. But there are like.... 40-100 fake artist pages trying to be me so that's probably why. I know its the same for Twitter. When I got info from Twitter they said others have to constantly be pretending to be you and some other stuff. Or you can just pay Twitter the $500 if you know the right people lol
 
My 2 cts. - from what I understand the selections are hand picked and based off of those pages followed by facebook employees at various satellite offices. Facebook has been pushing into latin america recently (I am not allowed to link, but there are various stock related articles about it) and this is likely why they have a heavier balance on latin america...that, and I am not sure there is even a romanian facebook office -- nor do romanian pop references make their way into other western nations.
