Facebook Verification Selfie?

Because there are too many fake accounts, Facebook has a policy to authenticate the account you use. There is no other way to do this. Just create an account for a few days and then change your profile picture and information, but don't change it too much from the original information.

No need to be the owner. You can upload any selfie. Account will be verified after 5 seconds.

You just need to upload a selfie with a clear face to complete the verification process immediately.
 
I'm confused. So if I use my actual selfie... even if there is no way the name on that facebook account is me because my ethnicity is different from the name on that account, that would still work? Wouldn't they rejecf that 100% of the time?


The other issue is aren't they going to have my selfie in their record system? Like when I use my regular facebook account with my real name, wouldn't they go okay this person has a regular facebook account and a throwaway facebook account?


Has anyone had this happen and if so, what selfie did they use? You use your own one? Again, the issue here is I'm using this throwaway account to ask questions on some facebook groups that are embarrassing so that is why I use a throwaway account. So what about finding a male selfie in google images but like keep going to the 10th page of images or so? Or would facebook still have software to check... okay this selfie is somewhere posted online? Surely they don't have the technology for that?
 
Okay so I went on google images and reddit and look for selfies posted by other people. I found a guy selfie and just saved that picture. I then went to a reverse image search and one site doesn't show any but another site does show reddit for that picture.


So that means that won't work then? Is there a way for me to find a selfie picture where this would work? So it can't be on reddit but a less popular forum? Find a male selfie somehow then?
 
In these cases, you should have the sharpest photos, and only you. But it seems very difficult for accounts that have reached this step, I think you should prepare another account.
 
If it is your account just take a clear selfie of yourself and high quality revealing your face definitely success

Just take a photo of your face in a bright enough place, your face is clear enough.

Got the same problem. My years long aged, no warnings, white-hat account that I use with a fake name is today surprisingly suspended. And when I want to appeal only option is to upload a selfie, I don't want to lose the accounts for the same reasons, also some facebook groups that I have.

Have you figured it out?

You just need to take a clear selfie of yourself or someone else and wait for the results.
 
Use your portrait photo, with clear details, not blurry or low quality. The squarer the photo, the better. It's not too harsh, it usually takes about 24 hours.
 
Send them your blurry selfie. Wait 24 hours and you have about 70 - 80% approved.
 
just take a selfie with you and send, you need to have at least 2 3 pics with you, be cleaver put in hidden pics with you,
