Facebook updated their system, only 10% of people who liked your page will see what you publish.
Is this for real?

Yes that's for real - it's been like this for a while. They're trying to get you to promote your posts (paid) - it's bullshit. Spend so much money getting real likes and now you have to pay again to have those that like you see your posts.

Yeah this sucks and if it keeps going this way....it's going to take the path of Myspace. Hate when these changes happen...ugghhh

I guess the figure is 17% to be precise and yeah it sucks!

Yeap, They are trying to sell ''Promote Post'' service. Shit

No, it basically works the same way it always has. There's an internal score for every page based on the interaction of your past posts. If you run 2 pages with an identical title and an identical number of fans, but page A averages 3 likes per post and page B averages 300 per post, you can post an identical piece of content on both and you'll get many, many times more views on page B. I've tested this over and over for at least 2 years now. It's just like having authority in Google. FB is keeping track of whether or not you make shitty posts and giving better pages priority. It actually works the same way with user profiles.

The difference now is that the user has the option of seeing all posts and now you can pay to have your posts seen even if you have a shitty interaction history. It *may* have gotten harsher, but the idea is the same.
