Facebook trick???

Hello,

I am not really into the Facebook IM stuff, but I saw a good trick yesterday. Maybe is it a really old move, but anyways I want to share it whit bhw and some feedback about it.

I saw a guy/girl, who connected with 8 facebook "friends" but all the friends got more than 1000 facebook friends. So what did he do: he tagged the 8 friends to his add (a picture) and the 8 friends automatically send it to more than 8000 facebook profiles!

What is your opinion about this move, or is that the basics from Facebook IM??

Yes, it's old technique! Many doing it from long time..
 
Yeah, this is the old one. Tag facebook friends which have many friends.
 
I'm just getting up to speed with Facebook and learning a ton of new stuff lately.

But I hadn't seen that tactic mentioned before.

wait.. what is the method here...

to have a pic and tag people that have 1000s of friends??

that is old.... in fact... a friend of mine tagged 10 pics with 50 people..
got his account deleted.... no warning... just deleted...

so be careful with this...
 
Old trick but it still works...

I've tagged 50 people in 1 of my promo pics on 100+ profiles didn't receive any bans.

Yeah - I would insta-untag myself, but I know a few people that are computer/facebook illiterate that wouldn't care or wouldn't know how to ..

Not the worst strategy in the world.
 
This has been done so many times before and it really pisses people off - trust me. It's very likely they will just instantly untag themselfs and maybe even block you as a friend if you continue.

It is good to get through this so that later it will be really good working on the profiles. I have heard that tagging is the best way getting more and more friends and thus beneficial.
 
just need to tag other fake profiles with 1000's of friends

1) create a fake account or use your own account (take care of being banned) 2) watch out for people with a lot of friends (socializer) and send them a friend request 3) If you have got about 10-20 socializers (point 2) as friends make a picture with ads or whatever and tag those 10-20 friends 4) .. hi at publicity

Take no offense to this but I have no idea what you're saying. I'm going to explain it a little bit better. This isn't something new by any means and is a tactic that's been used on the internet for ages. Socializer isn't required for this to work.

Step 1. You create your Facebook account or fake Facebook account.
Step 2. You become Friends with people that have a large number of friends on Facebook.
Step 3. You upload a picture onto the said Facebook account.
Step 4. You then tag the new "friends" that you now have into a picture that you have just uploaded.

Benefits of doing this:
The picture that you have just uploaded that have people tagged into it will appear in those peoples news feeds and thus gives you more views.

Most people don't untag themselves from pictures so that means your picture that you have uploaded and tagged them in will stay in that persons profile.

The more friends someone has that you have tagged, the higher the chance of there friends seeing it.

This is really good for Facebook Fanpages because it helps give them rank.

You can also twist this type of method to be used for blogging. But that's a different game all together.

As said earlier in the thread this type of method can get your account banned. The newer the account the fewer the flags it takes for that account to be taken down or warned.
