If you have a facebook page, you will know that its very important to keep it active with quality content and only post marketing material every once in a while.

Most of the time I use meme's, but lately I have been going down a different route and asking users simple trivia questions.

The key is to choose a question with lots of possible answers, here are a couple of examples of how to go at this.

Ya now facebook displays on there friends wall that XXXX person has commented to the picture ,
It goes viral , I use this technique :P

And i have one example too :P

The more they comment , the more talking about the page .

interesting thread ... i also put up quizes to increase activity .. memes are getting boring already

As a owner of a 900K+ fan page as well as several other big pages, I confirm that this is a solid method that I have tried and tested before and it works fantasticly.

I Think Commenting Have twice more effect than Like ;-) .

make them yourself using microsoft paint. it takes 30 seconds
 
lol... I posted the (y) picture provided in this thread on my page of 4k fans.... 15 comments in 3 minutes. I need to start engaging with my fan pages more.
 
I only have 5K fans on a very niche market. I posted a picture, went to sleep to then find this morning it has over 1,600 comments, and I got 120 new likes!!

saw this: 1,000,000
comments: 26,535
likes: 2,299
share: 433

and my page has over 1,270 new likes!! (gone from 5,149 - 6,420)
