Bad for users but good for marketers. Feels like FB is becoming the central hub of the internet.
 
Thats much like an alternate to membership sites. Quite good move by FB to attract many more marketers.

You can create a group and charge for access if you offer good content.

Spam isn't real marketing.

I agree, but I'm wondering if those subscribed users will see each of the group post after paying $x/month?

Although i havent tested yet but I believe facebook must be providing admins with options whether to display old posts or not.
