How Facebook acting when I tattoo "Face" on right arm and "Book" on left arm and post pictures of it to my facebook account to get fans( color and styling will be very different from original)? In my conclusions "face" and "book" are not Facebook trademarks as long they are seperated.

they properly wouldnt even care if you took the real logo and tattooed it on yourself lol

Its free walking advertisement for them :P
 
I thought facebook is currently trying to copyright the word "face"?
 
Facebook will never be able to copyright "face" lol :D we aren't allowed to make sites about Faces XD?
 
Im worried about Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities chapter 5 statement 6 which says: You will not use our copyrights or trademarks (including Facebook, the Facebook and F Logos, FB, Face, Poke, Wall and 32665), or any confusingly similar marks, without our written permission.

I really have a great idea to get lots of fans even there is plenty similar "tattoo topic" related fan sites. Its like thousands of people do SEO, but you can do it better than others!

Hold on a second, if you're seriously considering tattooing the FB (or any corporate logo for that matter) anywhere on your body then you've got bigger problems that copyright infringment to worry about.

I'm really hoping this is just a hypothetical question, but with some of the stuff I see around this place you never can be too sure.

Which problems you mean? Btw Im not going to tattoo myself, but I have a really grazy friends who is willing to do this. I include my own twists on this project and Im pretty sure its going to work well and gets me that amount of fans I want. :)

I just want to be sure as hell FB do not ban or suspend my fanpage for tattoo (ing) "face" and "book" (PS totally different styling on colors) on my friend arms and posting pictures of it. I already contact FB, but I think its waste of time...
 
I am only going to say this because I really don't want you to end up with a tattoo that you will regret lol.. Facebook is a website that will have its heights (just like now) and then it will vanish just like Myspace. Yes i may be wrong but that is what it looks like lol.

Don't get a tattoo for some kind of IM method.. if you think it will be that great of a method at least do some serious testing first with some pictures of yourself that some graphic designer has edited lol!
 
I shouldn't do that if i was you. Just like Prodige says Facebook can become less famous.

In my book, NO. In facebook's book, YES! You've broken their gay rules. They would even sue you if you even dare to think of a domain like Fme. :p

Dude if 'OMG Look at this girl!' can go viral on facebook. This will go huge. You have balls man. At least you can say to girls 'Oh why do I have the Facebook logo on my arm? I'm Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook. Fuck me'
