There is no "secret". Folks try to hit viral status by posting funny/interesting/engaging stuff. There is no magic button really, it takes a lot of work to create a legitimately popular FB page.

The only way to do that with bots would be to control every profile that likes your page by getting them all to like, comment, and share everything, not sure if there's any bots out there that do that.
