    I am looking for a Script I can use to customize and use on my site allowing users to post status like updates creating a Timeline like wall. Some features will be much like Facebook status uploader allowing user to upload pics, music, video etc. Anyone with pointers on where to find similar code? Iv'e found some outdated Mocked up HTML and CSS scripts yet when tested for status update give Error code 404. Any ideas? FacebookForm.png

    You'll need more than just css+html if you want something that does more than just sit there and look pretty.
    Those submissions need to be posted and pulled from somewhere.

    {user_id | timestamp | status_blob}

    non-working/tested code:
    Code:
    select * from db.statuses order by timestamp desc;
    insert into db.statuses (user_id, timestamp, status_blob) values(1, time(), 'hi i'm bob the blob');

    It's really a simple feature but there are a lot of checks and balances. If you're looking for specific plugins and such, it would be helpful to tell us your platform. You're site could be in perl for all we know.

    Using Wix for beta for the site which allows almost any script type to be either embedded or HTML post

    there are lot of facebook clones that you can use...
    http://www.clonescripts.com/facebook-clone-script/

    if you want to build your own clone... good luck...
    friendly advice... use MVC framework, there are very easy like
    Codeigitor or Klein

    Thanks for the advice, Im refreshing my coding knowledge and skill don't think im sharp enough yet to derive my own script yet for that- but cloning sounds kinda promising although most on that site are outdated. Thanks
