Facebook status likes?

Some of my friends use a weird thing that gives them like 300 likes on their status in minutes.
The weird thing is, those are people from the same country we live in, and they aren't Chinese or something.
Also, the friend that got the likes on the status doesn't have those people in his friend list.

How do they do this?

may be he uses a bot and loads accounts in it to provide you the likes

Perhaps they use lots of FB accounts to like this status, then the status get many likes

Theres loads of websites that offer this. Mostly malaysian i believe. A few links have been floating around this forum.
