Legal trouble as in it's against the law (like email spamming) and you can go to jail? No, I don't think so.
If you made thousands of profiles and spammed millions and millions of people on FB, then they might think it necessary to take you to court to prove your actions cost them X amount of dollars... But that's a big if. It's cheaper for them just to disable your accounts in most cases.

He's not bankrupt because of only FB, Myspace sued him as well and kicked his ass. Has there ever been any records of somebody who just uses his own accounts and spams around 200 to 300 messages a day into groups that got sued?

Sounds to me like you are teetering on the grounds of desperation. It's obvious that spamming on a large scale spells big trouble with facebook, so why entertain the idea in the first place.
There are lots of decent not-too-spammy ways to market on FB without spending a dime. Just take the time to explore and apply.
