Facebook has announced a major addition to its social network in the form of a smart search engine called graph search. With the feature allowing users to make "natural" searches of content shared by their friends. Founder and chief executive Mark Zuckerberg has insisted that it is not a web search, and therefore not a direct challenge to Google.
