You should change your account and transfer your assets to another account, Maybe you bought this account and it came with the phone number that the seller used for phone verification.

It's frustrating that this number is hard to remove; it's been a Facebook error since October. Even if deleted, Facebook keeps it. Changing accounts is the only option. If anyone has a solution, please share. Thanks!

There is no way to do that without the code. I had the same issue once contacted support team but no use, i wasn't able to recover that account....
