Of recent each time I try to make adjustments to this Facebook account it will be sending code to this strange number I don't know about,

The only contact details I have on the account is my email, I can't even remove it because is not on my contact info.

How do I fix this?

You should change your account and transfer your assets to another account, this account can be lost at any time or if it is locked you will not be able to reopen it.

You probably purchased this account and it already came with the number the seller used to phone verify it. A great seller would remove it after a while to prevent precisely this complication you are experiencing right now. Next time, ask a seller what comes with the account and what you get access to.

There is no way to remove those numbers without access to them to receive the codes. There is an unreliable method in which, Facebook could lock your account for suspicious activity and allow you a method to unlock it, for which you have access (you don't have such a method added on this one). In such a case they might ask you to remove contact details that you "don't recognize" and would remove the one you don't have access to.

Unless you have high value assets linked to this account, there is no reason trying to salvage it as accounts are cheap to come by.

The seller removed the phone number, I do receive verification only by email but recently I don't know why the phone number is the only way to receive code,

I can not remove the phone number or even add authentication without Facebook sending code to that number.

The worst part is that, the number is not even showing on my contact information and I have a lot of asset in it

How long ago did you add the email? Normally it takes a certain amount of time from 1-2 weeks for the code to be sent to that new email

please add your email then delete original contact information

Please try adjusting your account authentication method, or else you should leave it to avoid risks

It has been over 2 months now.
I do receive verification by email and there are no other option like phone number.

But today I am seeing a whole different thing.

I can let the account go but I have pages the account is managing, I can not add new admin to the page because it'll still ask for verification code by phone number.

You can contact the person who sold your account to get the code from the phone number when adding a new email.

maybe this is not your main profile , because these hidden contacts are the previous number that created the current account and profile , meta is recovering all their original profiles and information

I think it was sending the code to the recent phone number that was removed to your social account.

I can't remember the seller and even if I do, he might take advantage of it when he realize the account is managing massive pages

These are the original information previously registered, add your information to avoid future risks.

Has this been happening since you bought the account or has it just appeared recently? Maybe this phone number was recently deleted so the system has not updated the verification via other methods yet.

It just appeared, I was using email and this number was not there and is not even there at the moment but anytime I want to make a change Facebook will send verification to the phone number.

very difficult, the code will be sent to that phone number and cannot be fixed

I think you should wait a while to see how things go. If it still doesn't work, you should contact support for assistance.

Is this the phone number of the person who sold you the account? If so, then the problem seems complicated
