In a BH mastermind there has been several discussions about FB sending bot traffic just to take our advertising $. So supposedly they can detect BH ads running, bypass your cloaker, and bombard with bot traffic to charge for the ads and get you nothing in return. Eventually banning you.

In the mastermind a few members have detected some unusual activity. I too am seeing conversion rates change so drastically on a very narrowed down targeting. Even with a 1% lookalike audience. This is all regarding BH stuff ran in the US.

What do you guys think? I hope my sources and I are wrong. If true, it's really sad it had to come to this

I can confirm they're sending bot traffic but in my experience it's only after someone has shared one of my links on FB. The instant someone shares one of my links I get two page views from a Facebook bot (I check the IP and can see that it says Facebook, Inc). I don't think I've seen this before but maybe I just missed it in the past.

They've lied about their stats since they started so I don't see why they wouldn't send fake traffic.

Anyway, even if they didn't they don't really do much to prevent external bots. I stopped using FB ads because I knew most of the clicks on my ads were coming from fake profiles, liking my pages/posts to make themselves look real.

Nah, it isn't bot traffic. Many dumb users click the links like the way you said. If Facebook would have been sending bot traffic all this time, they should have been sued.

You can't sue when you're running BH. Your sue will get countersued and you'll lose.

So the word is this: FB is under pressure by the FTC to crack down on the fake news stuff. So what they do is send a bunch of clicks to your ads with fake profiles thus charging you for clicks. It increases their revenue = higher stock price since it is a publicly traded company. And after they jacked enough of your money they ban the account = hey look FTC we shut them down so we are trying to fix the fake news issue (but not before we take their cash).

They don't care about their users. Never have. Black hole of a money pit...

Yes they do. Their platform cannot tell a difference, but if you are super specific with your targeting then you will 100% be ok. Easily dodgeable if you know how to manipulate.
