Facebook's Fake Account Index has been revealed. Facebook ranks your accounts based on how shady they are. Pictures of their GUI and details about tracked metrics are inside.

If you don't follow small American conservative news outlets, you missed a large leak from Facebook last week. Worry not, I've got you covered.

Most of the leak was utter crap, but it did contain 25-30 pages of useful info. I've cut out all of the politcal content that I could without impacting useful info, re-organized it, and added end of chapter notes highlighting key concepts and my own conclusions.

I'm no expert in FB. If you have corrections or suggestions, post them in thread and I'll update the document. Check out the bit of theorycraft at the end. Let me know if you think that's an experiment worth running.

Anyone who's played with FB for a while knows the unwritten rules from trial and error but it's cool to see my account score / action score theory confirmed. Overall acct score and then scores for different types of activities (groups, friend adding, tagging, liking).

Starting with a quality account and warming it properly on non proxy IP blocks will drastically reduce your headaches once you're ready to roll.

Not much useable or ground breaking info in here but appreciate the effort none the less. Hopefully they keep focusing resources on content censorship and political news topics and let us continue pumping.

It's nice to see some theories become known facts. Also knowing what they can do in the future allows us to prepare for it. I'm hoping they keep focusing on the politics because if they keep focusing on politics they'll keep having leaks. More info is always a good thing.

The Kekistani numbers really got me thinking about the possibility of using raids as a BH tactic. 70k accounts achieving 600,000,000 impressions in a 30 day period is insane. Obviously we can't replicate that scale but it comes out to over 8,400 impressions per account. Even smaller scale operations could drive incredible traffic.

Do account / activity scores only impact newsfeed visibility or are they relevant to ad performance and relevance scores as well?

I hope that Facebook bans fake accounts that mostly spam political stuff. Most fake accounts that are disabled by Facebook are mostly political spam.

The report was primarily focused on reducing View Port Views involving comment sections, group, and wall posts. That's all non-commercial speech that doesn't involve the ad system. Trolls using the ad system is extremely rare. The only troll I've ever seen abuse ad targeting was Weev and he hasn't done that in a long time.

As long as the pressure from Congress holds up, FB will be obsessing with political content.
