Okay, I've always told myself that I'll use Facebook to promote my sites but so far it hasn't happened.

I've just bought a tech site that should work well with a Facebook page.

I'm kinda worried though, since I have a personal Facebook page and I don't want to risk that getting banned or whatever. What I basically want to know is: Are Facebook really strict when it comes to pages for sites?

I'll probably just be posting some links to new articles and other gadget news from related sites.

Thanks

Facebook Pages Has a whole section for websites

Basically what this guy said. Facebook has a whole section dedicated to all of the information you may need. Just keep away from dodgy rebills, CPA's, porn, pharma etc... you should be good promoting your own website as long as it doesn't fall under those categories.

Facebook pages? I think they are somehow.. okay. I have a page that publishes women's photos, most of them naked (I'm the one who posted them lol) but until now I haven't been reported , and not a problem with it. The truth is, people love them. HAHAHA

You should not encounter any problem. Its only if you are doing something really shady or spammy. And I assume if you are doing either of those, facebook users wont respect you anyway. You should be good man.

Hi everyone
I
want to sign up on facebook but do not know how people help me with
Thanks

You won't have any issues. You don't even have to associate your Website's page with your personal account, just use a different email.
