Facebook question: Re: Fanpage URLS

Hi guys, hopefully one of you knows the answer, I've searched facebook for an hour with no luck.

I just started my fanpage this morning, and I'm told I can set the url to a custom one

facebook.com/mywebsite

They also say I have to wait till I have 25 fans/likes

Ok, so I sent out my invites to all my friends and I have the

25 fans, but If I change my facebook url now will my friends who I've already invited still get to my fan page?

Is facebook smart enough to redirect their crappy url

facebook.com/pages/website22338822

to facebook.com/website?

Or will I have wasted all my invitations?

Just go to facebook.com/username.....

Yes, thanks. I know how to change the name, what I don't know is if the invites I've already sent out (thousands) will redirect to my new username url

Yeah, I know. I'd hate to send 100,000 invites to an empty page!!!

I remember when I did mine it said it will still be valid, but that when they started offering it, things may change
