Facebook: Question About Ads & Invites

Hey all,

Hope you're doing well. I had two questions and was really hoping someone could help. I recently started running an ad for a brand new page. The ad itself is doing well, has about 318 links from 13k reach. At the same time, it has about 650 reactions.

I'm slowly sending an invite to everyone who has reacted to the ad, however, I'm getting the sense that the conversion rate on those invites is non-existent. I feel like the users aren't getting the invite, just a hunch. So here are my two questions:

1. is there a way to verify how many of those invites converted into a page likes?
2. If my hunch is correct, has anyone else faced this issue before and is there any help you can offer?

I recently posted about a similar issue as you. Good engagement on posts, low conversion on page likes when I sent out invites. A kind BHW gave me advice to invite users who engage with your post almost instantly - sooner the better - cause most times the user who engaged with your post forgets about your page relatively quickly.

How often are you inviting users to like your page?

My campaign is about 2.5 days old and has over 800 reactions. I invited the first 350 people who had reacted (and not liked the page). I did this during the first day a half. Since then I've stopped to make sure that I'm not doing something wrong. Will invite the next 450 once I figure out what's going on.

I personally haven't noticed a huge difference until I started inviting every hour. I was advised to do it every 5 to 10 mins but who has time for that! Try further reducing your invite time to maybe every 1 to 2 hours and let me know how that goes.

Another thing to consider is if your current ad in your campaign is relevant with the rest of the content on your page. If users find your page content not relevant to the post they engaged with, they will most likely not like your page.

Guyz, That feature is not working now. I posted the same query here but nobody revert back. I also faced the same issue. I ran a successful FB ad with great engagement and sent invite to everyone but didn't got any like from that acitivity. It was so weird and to test whether the invite feature works or not I liked my page from my other account and logged in to my original account and found my like and invited myself to my other account to like my page. And, then Logged in to the other account and to my suprise I didn't receive any notification to like the page.

When I contacted the Facebook support via chat, they acknowledge this issue and told me many facebook pages has got hit by this error and they are looking in to it. And it more than one month they havent revert me back with the resolution. Whenever I contact them again via chat support they always reply me that they are looking in to the issue and will revert back once it is resolved and they don't gave any timeframe to it.

I think facebook has stopped this feature since every one is gaining free like using this feature. Feeling shit. But can't do much. It is facebook at the end.

Im sending 100s of invites every day and only 1-2 likes per week, maybe... I have the same issue. My content is unique, invites are targeted, but no liikes on page at all.

Once again - How often are you sending out the invites? As I mentioned previously, you should try your best to send invites out every 5-10 mins - if that's too much try to do it every hour. You'll see a difference.

Yeah, there has been an issue with the invites thing, but also...usually expect invites turning into real likes to reduce as the hours pass by. Like someone did mention, users forget fast.

That's the one that I use as well

Facebook is turning into a real joke lately. I don't understand how they keep changing the rules on advertisers who are spending thousands of dollars.

I now have 2.6 engagements on that post. Trust me! Tried it all. Waiting, not waiting, sending only a few, etc. etc.

I trust you - just want to make sure.

Here's another thing that helped me out. I retargeted my ads 'better' so the 'right' audience or more interested audience sees my content.
After that retargeting, I noticed more users accepting my invites.
I'm not saying you're not targeting the right audience but it maybe worth a shot to review your ads and try targeting a 'better' audience.
