Hi guys, I am totally new to the forums and am trying to find an uptodate recommendation for a facebook promo software bot.

I have been using FBP quite happily for about a couple of years, however the recent updates from facebook have made it very difficult for me to continue even with the strictest of rotations on my accounts. I have a feeling they are nailing me via IP and regrettably FBP is rather dated and does not offer any proxy settings whatsoever. Needles to say it's time I moved a bit with the times before I get anymore of my accounts in trouble.

I have looked at the long thread on FFAP which at first looked great but as I got nearer to the end was glad I decided to read it all. I also heard FW mentioned, could someone please enlighten me on what that is?

My main question is are there any working alternatives available or is this a problem all people promoting via facebook are experiencing at the moment?

Everything I've come across even at much higher price points seem to struggling atm, so I'm thinking facebook might be finally winning this war and it might be best to not throw anymore money at it and see how things develop. Or could I perhaps be throwing in the towel too early?

Any feedback or pointers would be greatly appreciated, either on this thread or via PM.

Thanks in advance. I'm really glad I found these forums, some great info form like minded people.

Thanks man, I couldn't seem to find much info on FW, if it's dead that would make sense. After reading that long FFAP thread I get the impression there are a lot of unhappy current FFAP users, many of which used to be happy customers.

That's puts me off, especially as it is quite pricey in comparison to FBP (which cost me £20 2 years ago). I know I need to pay more than that but I'm not that desperate to fork out for something that's getting such bad feedback atm.

Does anyone on here know/use of any alternatives? I'd like at least 5 or so (if there are that many) to make a few comparisons before I spend any cash.

Again any responses would be mucho appreciated. :)

If u can afford it ffap is great for day to day account management, wall posts, status updates, deleting requests.

Used in conduction with ur brain it is quite an effective tool.

It is useless for friend adding, and I expect most bots are these days anyway because they all choose to mimic how a real user would use the site somewhat and facebook really clamped down on adding friends.

    Thanks for the reply D4Dirty.

I've noted that adding friends and then suggesting pages was one of the highest yielding techniques, and I' don't think it's any coincidence facebook have made this process extremely difficult recently.

Also I'm weary of anyone bulk selling friends or likes for fan pages as they must simply be a collection of old random users or spammers, neither of which yield any quality traffic.

It looks like FFAP is still favoured by users here, and I suppose as there doesn't seem to be any viable alternatives people needing a tool like that don't really have much of a choice.

Recently started using twiends which is good for purely building numbers, but I'm seeking higher quality likes - i.e. people who interact with the content and are not just adding to the numbers.

If anyone knows of any other software to help build fan pages I'm still all ears. ;)
