Facebook PPC, WTF is with this :/

Right so i get a campaign up yesterday

end the day on 1.27% CTR and managed to get a campaign down to 0.04 cpc

unfortunatly my credit card didnt bill so campaigns paused, today i managed to pay it off and start again.....NOW

The suggested bid is at 0.06-0.10 and i am still bidding 0.10, seeing Nooo traffic what so ever!

WTF is up? If i kick it to 1$ cpc the traffic rockets again, wtf, how do they play :/

suggestion is down to 0.05 - 0.08 yet i dont see anything at that level lol
 
Avoiding US traffic will get your traffic with low CPC! Considering Facebook,they does make us pay 'MONEY' to advertise to US people! :)

I got my cpc down to 0.05 dude and saw an epc of $0.30+ and all my ctrs are above 1%
I've now got 3 campaigns up all at $250 a day limit, suggestions are low as hell, great CTR and no traffic, so iv'e now put everything up to $1 bid and im still seeing no impressions, no clicks SWEET F.A!! Seriously mind blowing. Might have to go for another country although it's hard to as they have been doing so well :)
 
Try creating a new advertiser account and recreate the campaign in there? Sounds stupid, but I'm sure I've heard a few stories of people pausing campaigns then when re-starting they don't kick-in.

Iv'e heard opposite, i.e If the campaign dies out, pause it for a few days and then restart and it's away again lol. Still it's a right pain.
 
Choose third world countries and you will get 0.01 clicks and HUGGEEEE traffic. If your offer requires first tier traffic then fb advertising is not for you if you do not want to waste thousands of dollars paying for 1$ clicks.
 
Third world countries!? Yeah, if you want a lot of traffic making no money.

The real question is are you getting impressions?

hahahahaha don't make me laugh, if you read!!! When have i ONCE moaned about spending money on USA traffic?? This is about how their system works... - 0.05 cpc with an epc 0.30 yeah ok ill go mess with 3rd worlds, i'm still laughing

facebookdude, i dont get any impressions atall until i push it to $1 :)
however the suggestion still stays at 0.05-0.08

Today i restarted it at $1 with an average of 0.45 cpc and manage to get all the way back down to 0.10, the reason for the post is/was because i had already done all this and my ctr was spot on, just because it paused it was like facebook saying "tough titties, start again" lol

You may just need time for your ad to cycle through again. You might have had a high click ration before that factored in and now you need to build back up to that.

Thanks, probably the only answer relating to my post :)

Shall i leave it as low as it is (suggestion based) or shall i hit it back up to a level where i start seeing impressions and then drop it slowly then based on average?
 
Ussualy before make a campaign i search for the campaign of people who have same product with me then i copy paste it to my campaign and just chane a little world and pictur of the product. Yeah..my first campaign in FB i set the bid for $1 and got approve only in 1 hour.
After my ads got much impressions and clicks then i set the bid to $0.3 and my campaign still got much impressions and many people still click it.
 
I would drop is slowly, even bring in some of these foreign countries to get the rates down and drop them off as it goes down. Should be cheaper to pay 10-15 cents a click and bite the bullet on crap traffic then paying over a buck

Dude lol your speaking to me like i'm some kind of noob in this game, i'm not hehe :)

The $1 bid is just to get it flowing again and you won't pay over a $1 anyway it usually averages about 0.30 to start then ill drop every hr.

I was just miffed as to how it worked as it was doing VERY well and then it grinds to a hault all of a sudden coz the campaign pauses that's all :)
