for some reason no matter what my niche, even if i target nothing, or if i target entirely...facebook say my suggested bid price is always over 90 cents to 1.35 per click

it never goes below .88 cents for some reason, and this is only happening to me today ....any conclusions?

    im thinking its a bluff

Mainly because they're greedy, but also because facebook is the second most trafficked website on earth - it's going to have a lot of people doing the same exact thing as you.

Lol the trick is to start your bid at 0.10. Then keep increasing until you get some impressions. Don't pay any attention to what they say

Bid cpm and bid about half the lowest sugg. Bump it up 15c if your ads approved but isnt running in a hour or so. Just look at your running cpc/cpm and it may be even lower than your bid so dont worry about thier suggestions. They just want to make money off people who follow a suggestion of how much to pay.
Never pay cpc unless you know cost is lower than cpm (which is uncommon without ALOT of testing). Run your campaign cpm untill you have good idea of your ctr. Optimise Optimise Optimise untill ctr >.08 then bid cpc and bid low.

The key is hundreds of dupe ads with different variations and alot of funds to test. optimising ctr is the entire game since they want to display what viewers like.

Literally hundreds. Making ten changes to ten ads means 100 vars.

Do not bid cpm. I get 3mil impressions on my ad. imagine paying the cpm on that LOL. Just as soon as you make ur ad set it at 0.10 and see what the lowest u can go and if its lower than 0.20 keep running it.

I know what I'm saying. Ads are my only income. Disclosing this info wouldn't break my bank. You need much more than just a low cpc.

Yeah, as mentioned above, apply a method of permutation to find out what the highest CTR ads are - 10 titles, 10 images and 10 descriptions will leave you with 1000 ads. Also, make sure that you're not an idiot and run out broad targeting, demographics are key here. Make sure you know exactly what demographics you're going for, and then split them up even further by every variable Facebook allow you to to determine where your negative ROI is hiding and where your positive is at.

While most companies are usually in favour of CPM as it means they only have to deliver views not clicks, I have heard recently that Facebook are starting to be far more in favour of CPC advertisers.

Don't pay much attention to suggested bids, in as much as using it to choose your bid. Like with most other numeric suggestion figures, take it in a term of relativity.

Facebook Ad Manager is no longer for sale. They got a C&D letter from FB and decided to call it quits vs. facing a lawsuit.
