Facebook posts gets good engagement but doesn't translate to page likes

I'm a graphic designer and I create original content that I promote through Facebook ads. I get very good engagement through the ads but it seems like the engagement doesn't lead to any page likes. I've been inviting everyone that engages with the post but it seems like a very small % like my page. I post consistently and my content is original. I'm unsure how to further reach out to my audience.

Per week my posts gets about a few thousand likes on roughly 0.02 cents per engagement. I thought it would be cheaper to get the engagement and inviting as oppose to running invite Facebook ads.

Any thoughts or methods would be greatly appreciated!

Do you invite them regularly?

The key with this method is to invite users as fast as possible, until they didn't forget that they liked one of your posts. Of course, that requires constant monitoring or use of some kind of automation tool.

I invite every 3-4 hours but it seems to me that these invites are just going no where Once in a while I'll get an accepted notification but other than that, not many people accept it or it goes to the trash bin of invite request page.

3-4 hours is a lot of time. When our clients do this, they do it with couple of profiles and run invite tool every 5-10 minutes on each profile. This way they invite users as soon as they like post and CR is really good.

Thanks for the advice on being even quicker to the invite process I'll be sure to try it out!
Also this is a totally different question but would you know what exactly defines a post engagement if I was to advertise a video?

I think they count video views along with reactions and comments. Of course, you can invite only those who reacted to video.
