Hi,

I have a fb page with around 100k fans. When i used to post each one went to around 30k+ people. Now when i post it never goes out to more than 10k, does anyone know why this has happened?

Do fans have to actually interact with posts to see future posts?

thanks

yes, its normal now, its called the edgerank system. only people who interact with your page can see your posts.

That is how it is for normal profiles too.

As a club promoter, I want my updates to be seen by as many people as possible of course...
so what i do on the normal profile is tell people happy birthday on their birthdays...
most people will respond or at least like your post.... enough to link them to me.

When you say interact do you mean a fan liking or commenting on a post? Does it count if someone just visits you're page?

Any ideas how to get more people interacting without 'liking' or commenting on posts?

thanks

Same here.. Fanpage with round about 170k Fans and after 1 week just reached 60k.. It's because some of them hide your messages..

Here's a pretty good explanation of the edgerank system...

Type 'edgerank system' into google :)

I don't think it's because 110k of your fans have clicked to hide your posts.

Facebook should change this... if you've liked a page that means you want to see updates from them :-s
