Facebook Planning to allow users younger than 13

So facebook is reportedly testing out controls that would allow users under the age of 13 to participate with their parents supervision. Looks like revenue is at the root of every update or change from now on. Does anyone have thoughts on this and its negative or positive impact?

that is true, but now kids don't have to lie about their age. I find the timing very interesting with the ipo.

it will spoil every kid,instead its better they launch any gaming site for kids.Today every body got addicted to facebook ,how can we stop kids getting addicted to it.

Wouldn't matter too much due to kids who don't put their real date of birth.
