Does anyone know the reason of these verifications?

Are they random?
Do they appear if you login to multiple accounts under the same IP?
...?

this is facebook's way of bitch slapping proxy users .. heh.. there is another verification that is easier. wait a couple hours and try again

I've been using the same ip for all accounts and haven't ran into this. Must be just logging into an account with different ip's?

Yes if you log in from ip's that are in different geographical areas, you will eventually get the photo tag verification. I just spent almost 30 min getting a good account re-verified.

How does this work exactly. I have usually stick to the same IP for each account - but I tried swapping proxy from country to country to see what triggers the verification. It never came up.

So - what precisely is Facebook asking you to do?

Since 13-14 May. Facebook added this.
But as everyone else say, i think they will removes it, becouse to much people will argue about it to much that they have to take it down. (Photo Tag Verification).

This was a bad move by facebook. I've already heard a lot of complaints about people getting farmville photos showing up etc.

Their primary problem is they are trying to take over the worldwide web. They aren't satisfied with being #2 on Alexa (only under Google), they are not satisfied with having 4 million active users, no they are not satisfied. THEY WANT TO OWN YOU!

FEAR THE MIGHTY FACEBOOK!

In all sincerity, if they keep some of these outlandish antics up, they very well might end up screwing themselves in the long run. Greed is a powerful motivator but a horrible thing to possess.

This. You will never run into the photo identification if you are dedicating ips to accounts.

Not to worry bout the verification . try the same account after some hours & dont forget to switch your IP. me & my peoples are working like this. thanks

Ip is the main reason.if you login into account with ips from different geographic every time then facebook tracks it and imposes such verifications.so as to stop hackers and phishers frm taking over accounts.

This Just Happened to me on my main account when I was over a friends trying to add pictures .However the pics they are showing me I know for fact are none of my friends .Is there a way to work around this or do I just call it dead .Pull my apps and make a new page ?

Yes it's my own pic everything on there is mine .I even have a business fan page .I have never spamed try to sell cpa nothing My pages all where done organic.
