Hey Guys, my friend sent me this screenie yesterday of the paid advertising he's doing through Facebook. Make of it what you'd like but please don't complain about how he's paying for his advertising, etc, lol
But I found it interesting how many impressions he got for a total of just $2.91. In my opinion, that's a steal even though he got just 42 clicks. I realize that many people don't even see the ad, but still, that's a lot of impressions! If you're trying to promote your app, for example, you could always do something like promote a cash giveaway on your ad that you're giving out to people who use your app twice a day or something (whether you're actually doing a giveaway or not). And have a picture of a wad of cash to lure people in, you know what I mean? Because when you pay only for CPM (cost per thousand impressions), you want to do as much as you can to get people to see your ad. Perhaps a picture of a hot girl would also get people's attention! I'm just saying that Facebook looks promising if you pay per thousand impressions.
By the way, he also said he bidded way under the recommended CPM, so Facebook's probably just trying to rip you off
Might want to bid lower than the recommended.
Hope some of this helps someone. Feel free to leave your input. I don't know much about Facebook paid advertising, but I thought this was kind of interesting.
