Facebook Pages and Groups - Few general questions. (I'm confused)

I'm just wondering what the deal is with the new type of Facebook Group that they've introduced.

I'm really confused as I have an old style group for my website and now I've seen these new type groups I've created one of those too. What's the difference and how can I go about creating a new old style group again? It only allows for the creation of the new type now!?

Also, can other people in the new style group see which other members are online? Someone is saying they can see when I'm viewing the group, even though I'm not on their friends list, how is this possible?

Finally, I created a page for my website but it's now been converted to a community page. I've read info that says if a page becomes popular enough, administration will be handed over to the Facebook community!?! What's that all about, I don't want to lose control of my page after all the hard work on it. I want to stay adminstrator of it.

I hope some of you can help with some of these questions I have, Facebook can be damn confusing.

Well, but these thing about the community page is when the page is really big. I mean, you wont lose your rights, just if your page is really really big.

But how big is big? What are the specifics? The page currently has over 23,000 likes.

It depends. They usually do it when you are posting unrelated posts. Or if your page something general like 'Coca Cola'. I had a 700k page get turned into one. Guttering lol

it happened to one of my fan pages that was really new and hardly active, had just started working on it...

All I know is that I get added to these new groups all the time without my permission. There's got to be some way to exploit that...
