Hi. I read something about this in a blogging group on Facebook. Apparently when you post a link Facebook shows it to a small number of your followers. If no-one reacts initially to the post by liking, sharing, or commenting on it they do not let other's see it in their feed. I think it is the way to see if what you posted is news worthy or not.

Not related to this thread, what you are referring to is the normal function of the facebook algorithm.
These are pages that are getting zero reach on links due to violating facebook TOS or a facebook bug, not just a depreciation of links due to disinterest by followers.
Again random selection of pages from FB. They leave the real clickbait sites to have all their pages and they punish good pages. Who knows what they check.. Maybe there are many bot attacks that send reports that can cause also issues to many pages. It seems they have a new tactic the last months.. they dont unpublish your page but just give you zero reach.. Really amazing how they can destroy your investement in time and money from one day to another.. No one should invest more on fb... only verified fb pages seem to be safe.. just crazy.............
Also surprisingly they were checking one month an obvious bug affecting multiple pages.. and a youngester developer of theirs just replied that its not a bug but a scan of pages that post clickbait titles.. BTW the same links are still posted to many other pages with no issues.. So they are a joke.. their support is the worst ever.... also a lot of pages that were hit by the bug work fine today... so is this a bug or not?

I've got reach back on my pages, but it is really shitty on them, hopefully its a reset that can be recovered from. Still better than zero i guess.

Some pages 7 days, others 10-14
We've had some weird reach problem since the beginning of last week on a pretty big verified (blue tick) page. Roughly 90% drop in referral traffic since this nonsense began.
FB developers are dishing people out links to an appeal form, giving them copy and paste "You have been engaging in clickbait" answers. To be fair, a lot of the publishers are spammy Indian clickbait sites/pages. But there are some that aren't.
That appeals form for me says "You have no eligible admined pages." I've pointed this out to FB, and they don't have an answer.
Anyone else experiencing this? Is it some kind of false positive? Is it affecting the page AND the domain or just the Page? Seems to be whenever I post links to my site that the reach is abysmal. Some posts, however, are randomly getting decent reach.

Today I got my reach back...
I never post spam or clickbait news, many people that are innocent are experiencing this problem.
My block lasted 7 days, I will not post often, at least for a week, becaus I've heard stories of people who recovered their reach and then lost it again

We post between 20-40 per day. We cover the news and that's a fairly modest amount compared to other people in our niche. I've found the frequency in which we post changes nothing. Certain posts will get reach, others nothing. But overall, still pretty fucking abysmal.
We don't do 'clickbait' either.

Same on my pages, very low reach, only sometimes they get good reach.
