Hi there,
Im hosting an event and the flyer i have is 3000x4000 or something crazily large. I resampled it to 800x1100 or something close at 600 dpi. But still once uploaded looks a little fuzzy on bits. Ive tried PNG and JPG.

Any tips on file sizes/formats and what not to get the best quality photo upload for the profile picture?

Regards.
Jack

Check the final size in FB, and resize your original to that final size @ 72 dpi. At this point you should be able to tell if it works or not. If it does, save as PNG (so it won't degrade twice because of JPEG compression now and after uploading) and upload to FB. If it's not readable at the final size, optimize for FBs size/resolution.

Note: I forgot to comment, the reason you want to resize to the same size the image ends at FB @ 72 dpi is because when you upload an image to FB that's beyond their max lenght or width or above their max dpi, resampling and resizing will occur, in addition to recompression.
