Facebook Page Impressions

Ok I've never seen a post on this before. Quick question I have like 1.5k fans on my page, Its a musician page, but each post i'm posting is only getting 200 odd impressions?? why is this? And how could I improve this so every fan see's my posts?

If anyone has any info on this to share that would be great.

ps does anyone know if impressions only count in newsfeed or count on page too?

200 Impressions for 1.5k fans is pretty good.

Its nearly impossible to get 90-99% of your fans to see your post.
You obviously havent had any previous of how status updates work, just cause it appears on their newsfeed doesnt mean they will see it.A lot of people have their newsfeed full of crap so your newsfeed gets buried most of the time and they wont see your status update, also if depends on the time zone that your status update is in. If you updated your fan page lets say 3 pm EST then ppl on the other side of the globe most likely will miss your status update because by the time they logged in your status update would be in their newsfeed for 8-15 hours so it just wont be on their top of newsfeed.

Also keep in mind not everybody checks their facebook account every day, if you are able to have 15-20% fans impression then you are doing really godo.

could also depend on your niche - one of my niches gets at least 80 percent impressions from 7k fans yet another with 6.5k fans only gets 50 percent impressions.

if your fans/niche are active they are going to log in at least daily or even several times a day...

Finally Fb will filter your page out of your fans wall stream even form the Most Recent Feed. As long the Fan don't interact or at least passive visit your Page.
It handles pages now the same way like friends which one you don't interact or visit they will not show up in your stream .
