    Hi All,

I have read this forum over and over again, and tried just about everything there is to get my fan pages to grow, but nothing is working.

I have about 10 pages, each in their own niche, and I auto post great content with the API to them ever 4-6 hours, they are growing, but at 1-5 fans a week. I have asked so many other pages to share my page, but just don't get any responses. It seems that if you have one big page, you make the others grow and piggy back on the big one, but I just can't get one to become big. My biggest one has 900 fans, and just does not want to grow. The interaction on the posts is great for the number of fans I have, so I know my content is good, and I post way better stuff than my competition :)

Do you think it's because I post with the API that I get a bad edge rank, is it my country, because for every page, most of my fans and reach is from my own country. How do I break the borders and get seen by other countries. Should you throw money so that you can get to a certain number of fans, and then it will grow by itself, and how many fans will you need before it grows by itself, and by that I mean to grow by about 1,000 fans a week.

I hear great stories on how people are making it on FB, but I just can't seem to do it. Pinterest, G+ and Twitter works for me, but I would love to make it on FB as well.

Any tips or suggestions on what I can try?

    Thanks

Hello there. I also made a new Facebook page. It's at about 1,400 likes. I have been just going to other pages in your niche and comment on their pictures/statues. (Don't post your link. It will make you look needy and people won't like your page) And just comment legit comments. Also like people's comments, so when they see the notification, they see your page and it's a 50/50 chance they will click on it. That's what I have been doing aand got about 1,400 in a week.

Considering he has read the threads here, i'm sure hes been trying that. You might want to check out fb lead chef, target your niche page/s and spend a little money on growing the page. I would focus on the page that is already largest (unless its something that can get quickly banned like boobs or something ) then from there like you said grow your other pages from it. You can also solve your targeting problem doing this.

I have tried to interact as the page, but I did not do that very actively, so maybe I should just persist a bit more on that front. I think I will spend a bit of money to get the base a bit bigger and see if the growth pics up from there. Thanks for the reply

It does seem a lot like there is a lot of mafias (for lack of a better word) that is operating on the social networks, and once you have one big account you can grow all the others, You need that first "pizza shop" to operate from :)

I have now liked my pages by all my other pages, so page 1 likes page 2 and page 2 likes page 1. This should also give some cross awareness to the other pages.

Mike: How much time do you spend a day on a page liking and commenting on other pages?

What would you say is the best way to share a page from one of your other pages:

    1. Share a post
    2. Share a post and mention the page in the caption
    3. Share the page
    4. Text post with a mention to the other page?

I only spend about 1-2 hours a day doing it. And I would think sharing posts and sharing the page every now and then.

Thanks for all replies, and sorry for all the questions.

When you like, comment and interact with other pages in your niche, is it better to target the massive ones (1 million+ likes) or smaller ones (100k+ likes)?

I would say at least 10k+ likes. More the better.. But also sometimes the small pages can be good also. But I do have to say, when you interact with other pages, it will take time to get likes.. So don't stop doing it!

My plan is to take one of my pages, the biggest one, and finding as many related pages as I can, and to spend at least 1-2 hours a day using facebook as if I am really the page, Making friends, interacting and just to BE the page.

Let's have a look if that works. I will not yet spend any money on the page, so that I can track what is actually working. I might try the ad option on one of the other pages.

Okay. Good luck! Let me know how it goes. I'm thinking I might purchase an ad.

Does anyone have any idea how many likes you need if you have great content and you want to grow by about 100 likes a day?

Depends on how good the people are.. You could have 1000 likes and 900 people engage on your page likes/shares/comments.. It could grow about 100 a day.. Or you could have 1000 likes and only 400 people share/ comments/ ect.. It could only grow like 40 a day.. so it really depends.

The one page I am working on now has 374 fans, a reach of 2121, and 311 people engaged. So the percentages looks good and everything seems to be growing. I understand that the base is small, but on the 24th of July I was on 334 fans, so it is growing, but just very slow. That is 40 fans in 15 days, so 2.6 fans per day. I know it's not a science, but can I then say, that if I had 3,740 fans, I will grow by 26 fans per day? I know the quality of the fans should then be the same as it is now, but is that a more or less accurate assumption?

I made my page one hour ago, here is stats:

I do only commenting on pages in same niche.

Tip: Don't ask people to like your page, because they won't. Just post useful comments.

EDIT: after few minutes, few more likes:
