I’ve been testing different strategies to grow a Facebook page organically this year and I’m curious what’s working best for others right now. Reels seem to bring a lot of reach, but engagement on normal posts sometimes feels inconsistent. For those running niche pages, what type of content has been performing best lately — reels, images, or text posts? Would love to hear some real experiences from people actively growing pages.

Reels are carrying organic reach right now, everything else is basically dead without boosting. Short punchy reels with a hook in the first 2 seconds, post consistently and the algorithm rewards you fast in niche pages.

On MetaPlatforms, Reels are most effective for increasing reach, images for maintaining engagement, while text is almost ineffective.

Reels definitely get a lot of reach, but I’ve noticed that consistency is key. For niche pages, mixing up the content works best. Reels get attention but images also perform well if they're high quality and relevant. Text posts can be hit or miss, but if you keep them engaging and relatable, they can spark conversations. Just make sure you’re posting regularly and interacting with your audience.

Reels are still the best br

in my exp reels best for reach fb pushing hard, but normal posts only work when people comment fast, for niche i do mix reels + simple question post, image posts alone not working much now.

that's true ! but producing videos takes a lot more time than making images.

To develop the best organic reach, currently only reels are the best. You can also post hot news update content to increase engagement quickly.

Reels can get reach, but a lot of that reach can be quite random.

For niche pages I wouldn’t build everything around reels. I’d post them, but I’d also watch which normal posts get saves/comments. Sometimes a simple image with a clear opinion can do more for the page than a reel with 20k empty views.

Text posts can also be a hit or miss. They work when you already have people who care about the topic. If the page is still cold, most text posts will go unnoticed.

So I’d use reels for reach, but I’d judge the page by comments, follows, shares and saves (not just views).
